The history of the Brest branch of the BelCCI dates back to 1963, when the representative office of the All-union Chamber of Commerce was opened at the Brest-Central Belarusian Railway station. In 1964, the representative office was transformed into the Brest Region Commodity Examination Bureau under the Belarusian department of the All-Union Chamber of Commerce, and in 1979 it was transformed into the Brest branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the BSSR.

The branch unites more than 185 companies, organizations and firms, representing different forms of ownership.

The services of the Brest branch bear specific character due to the Brest region location across the borders of bordering on Belarus, Poland and the Ukraine.

The activity of the Enterprise is deeply influenced by the country's first free economic zone 'Brest' and the trans-border association 'Euroregion' Bug'.

The Enterprise is developing a successful cooperation with the regional Chambers of Commerce of the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and the Ukraine having signed more than 60 cooperation agreements.
