International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI

The International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI (the IAC of the BelCCI) was founded on April 12, 1994 to fulfill the  international obligations accepted by the Republic of Belarus as one of the obligatory preconditions for foreign economic activity. The IAC at the BelCCI is the full member of the European group of Arbitration Courts. The IAC at the BelCCI is part of the global system of International Arbitration (Intermediate) Courts that nowadays adjudicate an overwhelming majority of international and a considerable part of internal economic disputes.

The activity of the International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Belarus 'On the International Arbitration (Intermediate) Court' of July 9, 1999, the Charter and Regulations, which were adopted by the Resolution of the Presidium of BelCCI on March 17, 2011 and came into force as of April 5, 2011.

Under Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus 'On the International Arbitration (Intermediate) Court' of July 9, 1999 the IAC at the BelCCI adjudicates not only international economic disputes (of which at least one party is foreign) but also internal ones in which both parties are Belarusian entities.
