Armenia – Belarus business forum

Yerevan hosted the Armenia – Belarus business forum, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Investment Promotion Agency of Armenia within the framework of the 14th session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Armenian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Participating in the business forum were the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, Vitaly Drozhzha, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Yevdochenko, General Director of the Grodno Branch of the BelCCI, Miroslav Sarosek, General Director of the Armenian Investment Promotion Agency, Levan Oganesyan, representatives of the Belarusian Ministries of Healthcare, Industry, Agriculture and Food, 90 Belarusian and Armenian enterprises and organizations.

Promising areas for the development of Belarus-Armenia trade and economic cooperation in the food industry, agriculture, energy engineering, road and railroad transportation management were discussed during the business forum. The presentations of the export potential of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry, of the investment climate and tourism of Armenia were delivered.


The official part of the forum was followed by B2B negotiations, where representatives of Belarusian and Armenian companies discussed concrete cooperation projects.
