"Belarus – Uzbekistan" business meeting

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a business meeting "Belarus – Uzbekistan".
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Botirjon Asadov, representatives of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee of Investments of Uzbekistan, the local authorities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya, Ferghana, Khorezm regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, more than 100 businessmen of the two countries.
During the business meeting, the prospects of Belarus–Uzbekistan trade and economic and investment interaction were considered; B2B negotiations were held.
The Belarusian and Uzbek businessmen discussed the possibilities of further interaction in the fields of agriculture (export/import of agricultural products, crop growing, animal breeding), the production of meat and dairy products, light industry, the production of road construction and agricultural machinery, export/import of vegetables, fruits and dried fruits, the production of pharmaceutical goods, etc.
