Belarus-Iran business forum

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a Belarus-Iran business forum.
Participating in the forum were the BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich, the President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Masoud Khansari, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran Yuri Lazarchik, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Mostafa Oveisi, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Korchik, representatives of about 70 Belarusian and Iranian companies.
The forum participants discussed the topical issues of Belarus-Iran trade and economic cooperation; presentations of the business climate of the two states and the most promising fields to develop business ties were delivered.
The plenary part was followed by B2B negotiations. The Belarusian and Iranian businessmen discussed cooperation prospects in the fields of mechanical engineering, agriculture, food industry, the production of chemicals, banking activities, consulting, trade, and other.
