Belarus. The Taste of Nature pavilion at Gulfood international exhibition in Dubai

25 Belarusian food industry enterprises took part in Belarus. The Taste of Nature national pavilion at the largest international exhibition of food and beverages, Gulfood-2021, in Dubai.
The national pavilion opening ceremony was held on February 22. It was attended by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Luchenok, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Igor Brylo, Deputy Chairman of Belgospischeprom Concern Aleksandr Yakovchits, Director of Exhibition Unitary Enterprise "Belinterexpo" of the BelCCI Eugeniy Vvedenski, Director of Export Services Department of Dubai Exports Abdelrahman Al Hosani, and senior representatives of Belarusian companies.
The Belarusian exporting companies presented meat and dairy products, poultry meat and eggs, bakery products and confectioneries. All the products presented at the exhibition have ISO and Halal certificates.
The novelty of this year's exposition was its hybrid format. For the first time, the national pavilion had a virtual copy – an online platform that allows finding the pavilion at the exhibition, see the products presented at stands, get the contacts of the exponents. The exposition was accompanied by an eventful business program.
On February 22, the Belarusian business delegation headed by the Chairman of the BelCCI took part in a business briefing organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event included presentations of the economic and investment potential of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates, the export opportunities of Belarusian companies.
On February 23, the accreditation of Belarusian enterprises that want to sell their products on the UAE market was discussed at the meeting of the Belarusian delegation with Minister of Climate Change and Environment Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi. The delegation also held talks with UAE Minister of State for Food and Water Security Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Mheiri to discuss Emirati investments in Belarusian agriculture.
On the same day, the Director for International Affairs of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dubai Omar Al Khan visited the Belarusian pavilion, got acquainted with the products presented. Agreements were reached on further cooperation of the BelCCI and the CCI of Dubai on the promotion of Belarusian enterprises in the United Arab Emirates.
On February 24–25, the Belarusian exponents took part in Gulfood Innovation Summit, held presentations and negotiations with representatives of retail networks and importers from all over the world.
As the result of the exhibition, the Belarusian companies concluded more than $7 mln worth agreements for the supplies of their products to the UAE, Bangladesh, Ghana, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria.
The exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo Exhibition Unitary Enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
