Belarusian-Swiss Business Council meeting

Horn, the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, has hosted the meeting of the Belarusian-Swiss Business Council. The meeting has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Stadler Rail AG.
The meeting was attended by Peter Spuhler, Chairman of the Board of Directors and owner of Stadler Rail AG, Co-Chairman of the Business Council on the Swiss side, Vladimir Ulakhovich, BelCCI Chairman, Margret Kiener Nellen, National Councellor, President of the Swiss delegation at OSCE, Pavel Matsukevich, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Swiss Confederation, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, "Minsk" and "Vitebsk" free economic zones, the China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company, 40 large Belarusian and Swiss companies of mechanical engineering sector, logistics, consulting, financial institutions.
The meeting participants considered the prospects for the increase in the Belarusian goods and services export to Switzerland, the peculiarities of doing business within free economic zones and "Great Stone" China-Belarus Industrial Park, some issues regarding innovation and investment activities, logistics and customs regulation of the Belarusian-Swiss joint projects, financing and banking instruments to facilitate bilateral relations.
The meeting was followed by B2B negotiations of the Belarusian and Swiss companies' representatives.
Within their visit to Switzerland, the Belarusian delegation members visited Bühler AG company, which is a world leader in the field of mechanical engineering for food industry, and got informed on the advanced production process organization techniques.
