BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich takes part in the extended-format meeting of the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the extended-format meeting of the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

During the meeting, Belarus-Egypt trade and economic cooperation was discussed, as well as industrial cooperation and technology transfer, bilateral interaction in the fields of education and tourism.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus draws much attention to the development of friendly ties with Egypt and views this country as an important partner in the Middle East and Africa. "There are absolutely no problems between our states. There are no closed topics for discussion. It is important that we have stepped up efforts to transform friendly political relations into versatile and mutually beneficial economic cooperation. And today we have tangible results and serious progress in this area," the Belarus President said.
According to the Head of State, the mutual trade turnover has increased twofold over the two years since the highest level meeting was held. But the figures do not meet the existing potential. "We can do much more, and we have all the opportunities necessary to achieve better results," Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi confirmed the readiness of his state to further enhance cooperation with Belarus in all spheres and to continue the implementation of joint projects.
