BelCCI Chairman V.Ulakhovich took part in the XII meeting of the Advisory Council of the Chambers of the EAEU Member States

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the XII meeting of the Advisory Council of the Chambers of the EAEU Member States in a videoconference format.

The meeting was also attended by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia Martin Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Ayan Erenov, Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Amangeldy Davletaliev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Padalko, Advisor to the President of the Trade-Industrial Chamber of the Russian Federation Georgy Petrov.

During the meeting, issues of joint preparation of proposals aimed at resuming business activity in the EAEU countries in the context of a pandemic, promoting uninterrupted and effective business interaction, and eliminating barriers to mutual trade were considered.

On the initiative of the Belarusian side, the issue of the conditions for access of industrial goods of the EAEU countries to public procurement on the territory of the Russian Federation was also considered in connection with the adoption of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 30, 2020 No. 616 "On the establishment of a ban on the admission of industrial goods originating from foreign states , for the purpose of making purchases for state and municipal needs, as well as industrial goods originating from foreign countries, works (services) performed (provided) by foreign persons, for the purpose of making purchases for the needs of the country's defense and state security ”. The meeting participants discussed a set of measures to resolve controversial issues and identified priority joint steps to ensure equal access for goods to the markets of the EAEU countries.
