Business course "School of Export"

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched another business course "School of Export", which is a basis of the large-scale same-name project that has been being implemented by the Business Training Center of the BelCCI since February 2018.

The business course has been worked out as a competency development platform for different-level and various-profile specialists who are engaged in the activities on product supplies and promotion both to traditional and new foreign markets. Leading Belarusian experts in the fields of foreign economic activity, management, finance, marketing, logistics, taxation, customs clearance, business communication will deliver lectures on key aspects of export promotion and interaction with foreign partners.

On forming the course program, special emphasis was put on practice-applicative knowledge. The course includes the following eight educational modules: "Export Strategy", "Export Marketing", "Export Contract ", "Customs Escort of an Export Project", "Export Logistics", "Finance Management", "Tax Aspects of Export Activities", "Cross-Cultural Communications".

Within the first module, Export Strategy, the BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Head of the Strategic and Economic Development Agency Oleg Ilyin, representatives of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Beleximgarant informed the course participants how to choose the appropriate export strategy, to evaluate the export potential of a company, as well as presented the opportunities offered by the national export support institutions. The course attendees were more than 50 heads and experts of export oriented enterprises and organizations of various ownership forms, including SMEs.
