Business forum "Tajikistan – Belarus – Afghanistan"

Trilateral business forum "Tajikistan – Belarus – Afghanistan" was held in Dushanbe. The forum addressed the possibilities of the cooperation expansion of Belarusian, Tajik and Afghan companies, topical issues of trilateral business interaction.
Presentations of the industrial, export potential of the three countries, promising investment projects were held. Representatives of companies of Belarus, Tajikistan and Afghanistan negotiated future cooperation in the fields of energy, mining, engineering, metal-working equipment production, chemical industry, agriculture, food processing, construction, light industry, medicine, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, banking services, and other.
A number of bilateral agreements and contracts were signed during the forum, including a Cooperation Agreement between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines.
Participating in the forum were Alexander Ogorodnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Rustami Sodikjon Abdukarimzoda, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dzumakhonzoda Dzamshed, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sergei Nabeshko, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rahimullah Samandar, CEO of Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, Oleg Ivanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan with concurrent accreditation to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, about 150 representatives of Belarusian, Tajik and Afghan enterprises.
As part of the visit to Dushanbe, the Belarusian delegation members took part in the official opening ceremony of "Tajikistan 2019. Autumn" fair and got acquainted with a wide range of agricultural equipment, machinery and food products manufactured in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Uzbekistan.
