Consultation seminar on enhancing trade and economic cooperation with Tajikistan and Afghanistan

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a consultation seminar on enhancing trade and economic cooperation with Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
Participating in the event were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan with concurrent accreditation to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Oleg Ivanov, the BelCCI Chairman, Vladimir Ulakhovich, 60 representatives of Belarusian enterprises and organizations.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan presented promising areas of cooperation between Belarusian business circles with Tajik and Afghan companies, new export niches for Belarusian products and some features of doing business in the markets of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, and also answered questions from representatives of Belarusian enterprises about the possibilities of deliveries of food, engineering products, furniture and other woodworking products to these countries, development of interaction in the field of IT.
Besides, as part of the consultation seminar, the Director of the Belinterexpo exhibition unitary enterprise of the BelCCI, Yevgeny Vvedensky, presented the exposition of Belarusian manufacturers at the Tajikistan 2020 International Universal Exhibition, which will be held in Dushanbe on April 2–6.
