Grodno region delegation visits Batumi

The Grodno Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a visit of the Grodno region business delegation to Batumi (Adjara, Georgia).
The delegation headed by the Head of the Administration of the Leninsky District of Grodno, Ivan Kurman, included the General Director of the Grodno Branch of the BelCCI Mechislav Kostyuk, the heads of the Grodno Meat Processing Plant OJSC, ABC Firm ALC, Kvinfud JLLC, Slonim Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Dyatlovsky Distillery Algon OJSC.
Participating in the events within the visit was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia, Mikhail Myatlikov.
During the visit, a working meeting was held between the delegation members and Batumi Mayor Lasha Komakhidze, during which issues of establishing partnerships between the capitals of the two regions, as well as promising areas of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere were discussed.
Presentation of the economic and investment potential of the Grodno region, as well as negotiations of representatives of Belarusian and Georgian enterprises in B2B format, took place in the Chamber of Commerce of Adjara.
As part of the presentation, an Agreement of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia and the Unitary Enterprise "Grodno Branch of the BelCCI".
Besides, the Belarusian delegation visited a number of enterprises in the region, got acquainted with the infrastructure of Batumi.
