Hungary-Belarus business forum

Budapest hosted the Hungary-Belarus business forum, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary.

The forum was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Kravchenko, the State Secretary for Cultural and Science Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary István Íjgyártó, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovski, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Belarus Vilmos Siklavari, Deputy Chairman of BelCCI Sergei Nabeshko, Vice President of the Hungarian CCI Sándor Fasimon, more than 80 businessmen from both sides.

The presentations of export and investment potential of Belarus and Hungary, the doing business peculiarities and preferences to the Belarusian free economic zones and the "Great Stone" Industrial Park residents, the terms of technical regulation within the EAEU were delivered to the forum participants' attention. The priorities of Belarusian-Hungarian trade and economic cooperation were considered.

The business forum was followed by bilateral negotiations between the two countries' businesspeople. The Belarusian and Hungarian companies' representatives discussed the possibilities of cooperation expansion and joint projects implementation in the fields of construction, production and supply of food products, tourism, business support, steel founding, etc.
