International relations

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-governmental, non-profit institution, established with the purpose of fostering the business activity development of the Republic of Belarus, integrating its economy into the world economy, establishing favourable conditions for the enhancement of relations between the Belarusian entrepreneurs and foreign partners.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a full member of the International Chamber of Commerce with the headquarters in Paris. Being a member (since 2003) of the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), the BelCCI is actively participating in its activity. The BelCCI is among the founders and active members of the International Council on Cooperation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Economic Chambers of CIS Countries, Baltic, Eastern and Central Europe Countries and a member of the Central-European Initiative (CEI) CCI Council.

In the framework of the EU Initiative Eastern Partnership, the BelCCI participates in the following projects: EAST INVEST, the cross-border cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine, the Baltic Sea Region Programme.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry regularly attends the meetings of the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS states, established in 2002.

The Chamber has signed various long-term cooperation agreements with the partner organizations of the traditional and potential commerce partners of the Republic of Belarus.

The BelCCI and partner CCIes assisted in the establishment of Business cooperation Councils with Austria, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Syria, Ukraine.
