National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the 36th India International Trade Fair

On November 14 the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus has opened in New Delhi at the 36th India International Trade Fair.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India, Vitaly Prima, and the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Petr Baltrukovich.
Over 60 Belarusian companies showcasing their products and services in the fields of machinery and petrochemical industry, food and light industries, health care, science and education. Among the participants are the well-known brands: “BELAZ”, “MAZ”, “Amkodor”, "SvetlogorskKhimvolokno", “Mogilevkhimvolokno”, “Kommunarka”, “Spartak”, “MINSK KRISTALL”, “Orsha Linen Mill” and others.
There are more than 120 scientific and technical developments which are presented at the stand of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. Many of them have no world equivalents. They are water and sewage purification technologies, switching power supply, polymeric materials for 3D printers, optical systems, medical implants, absorption traps for thromb catching, spirometer “MAC-1”, measuring more than 40 human respiratory parameters, and many more.
One of the priority directions in Belarusian-Indian cooperation is joint production of medicines. Therefore the collective exposition of the Ministry of Health includes stands of the Belarusian biggest pharmaceutical companies, leading medical centers providing cardiology and cardiac surgery help, as well as institutions of medical education. The exposition visitors are able to get acquainted with such main export-oriented services as transplantation, radiology, cardiology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, reproductive health, rehabilitation.
The organizer of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus in India is the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Co-organizers of the event are the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology, “Belgospischeprom” concern, Executive Committees. Exhibition operator is Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
