Opening of "Academy of Export" business course

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched its unique business course "Academy of Export". Representatives of domestic enterprises will get theoretical knowledge and practical skills in key export development areas.

Participating in the Academy of Export opening were the BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich, Deputy Director of Foreign Economic Activity Department – Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Coordination Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Vzyatkin, heads of the BelCCI departments.

Vladimir Ulakhovich noted that the Academy of Export is an express course covering such parts of the export process as logistics, customs, legal sphere, communication, manufacturing management, and others. More than 100 representatives of domestic companies, directors, heads of commercial agencies, export promotion departments, and specialists will take part in it. The project has evolved from the School of Export, this year the business course has been transformed into the Academy of Export. The number of educational programs has been expanded.

"The Academy of Export is a free of charge service for the BelCCI member enterprises. Last year, more than 50% of participants of the business course were representatives of private companies. This proves that such courses are important for them as an additional driver of the foreign economic sector, export. This year this figure is even higher – about 70% of attendees are heads of private companies," the BelCCI Chairman said.

Within the first module of the business course, "Export Strategy", representatives of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, JSC "ASB Belarusbank", Eximgarant of Belarus, business trainers and consulting agencies experts presented financial and credit instruments of export support, the peculiarities of export risk insurance, algorithms of export potential assessment, and other aspects of the well-defined export strategy.

In total, the business course program includes 11 modules: "Export Strategy", "Export Marketing", "Public Speaking Presentation Skills. How to Make an Effective Speech", "Modern Forms of Sales Management, Sales Techniques", "Financial Resource Management", "Effective Participation in Exhibitions. Negotiating", "Export contract", "Customs Support of an Export Project","Export Logistics", "Taxation Aspects of Export Activities", "Communication with Foreign Partners". The lecturers of the course will be well-known business coaches, professors of the leading universities, Belarusian experts in foreign economic activity.

The last module will be held on November 12.
