Poland-Belarus business forum

The Belarus-Poland business forum was held in Warsaw. The forum was organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Polish Chamber of Commerce with the assistance of the Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technologies of Poland.

The forum was attended by the BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Vice President, General Director of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Marek Klochko, the Chairman of the Senate Commission on Economy and Innovations of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Stanislavek, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Alexander Averyanov, more than 200 businessmen from the two countries.

During the business forum, the prospects of the Belarus-Poland trade and economic cooperation were discussed, including within the framework of the interaction of the two integration associations – the EAEU and the EU. The participants also addressed the issues concerning regional cooperation, the advantages of electronic trading platforms in the bilateral trade of Belarus and Poland, as well as the possibilities of using the near-border transport and logistics platforms for the enhancement of bilateral trade efficiency.

A number of bilateral documents were signed between the Belarusian and Polish enterprises and organizations, including the Cooperation Agreement between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Polish Business association, the Cooperation Agreement between the Gomel Branch of the BelCCI and the Bialystok Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cooperation Agreement between the Vitebsk Branch of the BelCCI and the Bialystok Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cooperation Agreement between the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Grodno Branch of the BelCCI.

Following the forum, the businessmen of Belarus and Poland continued negotiating future cooperation in B2B format.
