During the talks, Alexander Lukashenko underlined that Tajikistan is a friendly country and a reliable partner for Belarus. The Head of State said he was confident that the current visit of the Tajikistani President would become another step towards stronger Belarusian-Tajikistani cooperation, towards stronger friendship between the two nations.
Alexander Lukashenko believes it is necessary to vigorously advance manufacturing cooperation ties, make products that sell well, and promote them to third-country markets, in particular – to Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Heads of State came to an agreement to organize a large-scale expo of Belarusian goods and to hold a business forum in Tajikistan in the near future with both events aiming at showing the potential of Belarus and the produced goods to the businessmen of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and other republics.
