Serbia-Belarus business forum

The Serbia-Belarus business forum was held in Belgrade, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia to coincide with the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko to the Republic of Serbia.
The forum was attended by the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich, the Minister of Education Igor Karpenko, the Minister of Industry Pavel Utyupin, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Anatoly Khotko, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources of the Republic of Serbia Branislav Nedimovic, the Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulahovich, the Director of the CCI of Serbia Mikhailo Vesovic, the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shumilin, about 200 representatives of business circles of the two countries.
The business forum addressed the promising areas of Belarus-Serbia trade and economic interaction, the current issues of doing business. Belarusian and Serbian companies' representatives discussed possible cooperation projects in the fields of mechanical engineering, agriculture, petroleum chemistry, food production, pharmaceutical industry, light industry, woodworking, and others.
The Belarusian companies signed 13 contracts and agreements with the Serbian partners for the total amount of more than 112 mln UD dollars.
