Video conferences within EU4Business: Connecting Companies project

Representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in a series of video conferences within the EU4Business: Connecting Companies project of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES).

Participating in the video conferences were Mathieu Bousquet, Head of Unit for Georgia, Moldova and Neighbourhood Cross-border Cooperation of the European Commission Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Ben Batters, EUROCHAMBRES CEO, Mark Hellyer, Head of EU4Business Initiative, representatives of about 200 business support organizations.

During the events, presentations of the project were held with detailed descriptions of each sector the project is focused on, such as tourism, food, wine production, textiles, creative industries.


The EU4Business: Connecting Companies project is aimed to promote trade between the EU Member States and the 6 Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine). During the project implementation (2021–2022), EUROCHAMBRES will arrange several educational visits, B2B negotiations, twinnings and other events for the business support organizations and SMEs from the 6 Eastern Partnership countries.

Based on the results of the assessment of preliminary project applications, the BelCCI, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone and Udine (Italy) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, has been selected by the European Commission and EUROCHAMBRES to form the Network4Wine Consortium within the EU4Business: Connecting Companies project to supervise the development of wine industry, production and sale of wine in the Eastern Partnership states.
