A visit of the Belarusian delegation to Mumbai

Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a visit of the delegation of Belarusian business circles to Mumbai (Republic of India).
The delegation was headed by Gomel Branch of the BelCCI General Director Marina Filonova and included representatives of Gomselmash OJSC, Mashinostroitel Health Resort, Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Plants and Units OJSC.
Over the visit, the members of the Belarusian delegation took part in the 25th Partnership Summit, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Government of Maharashtra State, as well as in the meetings with the Minister of Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu and the Prime Minister of Maharashtra State Devendra Fadnavis, conducted negotiations with representatives of Indian business circles in Mumbai Branch of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Partnership Summit united over 1,500 leaders of the biggest international companies, representatives of ministries, business organizations and associations from 44 countries, including Great Britain, Spain, Morocco, the UAE, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Japan, Nepal, Bangladesh and others. Vice President of the Republic of India Venkaiah Naidu took part in the official opening ceremony of the event.
Over the Summit, Gomel Branch of the BelCCI General Director Marina Filonova presented Gomel Oblast and the activities of Gomel Branch of the BelCCI within the panel session titled Future Challenges: Tourism and Hospitality. Presentations of Belarusian enterprises took place.
Gomel Branch of the BelCCI signed memoranda of intent with Maharashtra CCI and the Indian Chamber of International Business.
