Made in Belarus exposition at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair was visited by the leaders of Zimbabwe and Kenya

The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, the largest multi-sectoral exhibition event in the Southern African region, hosted a large-scale multidisciplinary Belarusian exposition Made in Belarus in Bulawayo, Republic of Zimbabwe, from 23 to 27 April. The exposition featured Belarusian food industry, mechanical engineering enterprises, educational institutions.

The Made in Belarus exposition was a key link in the programme of visits by government departments and profile delegations of the Republic of Zimbabwe and other countries.

On the final day of the exposition, it was visited by the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa and the President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto, who got acquainted in detail with the presented samples of Belarusian products and services offered by Belarusian enterprises to the African market.

"Belarus is a reliable partner and friend for many countries in the African region. We especially appreciate the support and assistance from our Belarusian colleagues in the implementation of joint projects with the participation of leading representatives of industry, business and education of the two countries," Zimbabwean leader Emmerson Mnangagwa emphasized, addressing the organizers and participants of the Belarusian exposition Made in Belarus.

"The Kenyan market is open to companies from Belarus. We continue to actively work to formulate a business agenda for socio-economic partnership at the highest level," the President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto noted.

Besides, uring the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, the Belarusian exposition was visited by First Vice-President of Zimbabwe Constantine Chiwenga and Second Vice-President of Zimbabwe Kembo Mohadi.

Thanks to the agreement between the unitary enterprise Belinterexpo and ZITF Company, the Belarusian side was granted exclusive rights to demonstrate domestic products, goods and services at the forum.

Thus, the collective stand of Aftrade DMCC showcased seven companies representing heavy industry sectors and also exhibits a range of food products.

OAO (JSC) BELAZ, BELAZ-HOLDING managing company, presented at the exhibition developments and solutions in the production of dump trucks, related services for support and maintenance of heavy machinery.

The Belarusian State University demonstrated its educational potential, study programs and profile events for foreign students at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.

Within the framework of the international exhibition, Belarusian representatives actively participated in thematic events and business meetings with foreign partners. Participation proved that Belarusian products are in special demand in the African market: affordable, high-quality equipment and food products, educational programs offered by domestic institutions are the seen popular and promising.
