The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Russian Business Council. The meeting was dedicated to the participation of Belarusian manufacturers and construction companies in individual housing construction projects in Russia.
The meeting particioants were welcomed the Business Council Co-Chairman from the Russian side – Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Moscow Alexander Yastrib, Chairman of the BelCCI Mikhael Miatlikov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vladimir Resin, Chairman of the Republican Union of Builders of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Nichkasov, Chairman of the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Sector of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia Efim Basin.
Following their addresses, the meeting participants were presented with the main trends in the individual housing construction development in Russia, promising mechanisms for the development of the individual housing construction market, norms and requirements for projects in Moscow and the Moscow Region, financial support measures offered to manufacturers by the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, the possibilities of the marketplace «СТРОИМ.ДОМ.РФ», as well as the of Belarusian enterprises MAPID and BELSTROYTSENTR. The heads and representatives of more than 20 large Belarusian and Russian companies in the construction industry discussed the possibilities of cooperation, exchanged experience in implementing projects in Russia and other countries.
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation plan to hold the next meeting of the Joint Russian-Belarusian Business Council on June 27 as part of the 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which will be held in Ufa this year. The key topics for discussion will be the transition of transport to natural gas, the development of family business, as well as barriers to the formation of a common market for goods and services.
