The construction of the porcelain factory in Dobrush began in 1975. The first batch was manufactured on December 28, 1978. This date is consi­dered the enterprise founding day. The plant's road to success was not easy; nevertheless, while many porcelain factories in the post-Soviet space have remained in history, DPF JSC has been working and prospering.

The company has been satisfying the needs of its customers for more than 40 years now. Should you turn your favorite porcelain plate over, you would probably see the plant's logo – letter "F" in a pot-shaped border – on the reverse side. More than 20 million produ­cts are manufactured annually. The volumes of the closest competitors are twofold more modest.

The range of products under the brand "Dobrush Porcelain" is very wide. Plates of various shapes and sizes, ­salad bowls, bowls with mugs, tea pairs, as well as various sets are available through retail chains.

Recently, customers want to set the table according to their needs, paying more and more attention to comfort, homely meals. That is why the production is focused on collections. Today, it is possible to purchase the necessary number of different items and make the necessary sets. Traditional sets are more often purchased as a gift to mark some special dates, anniversaries. Furthermore, small gifts, such as mugs and tea pairs in a gift box, would be a perfect holiday present.

Design plays an important role in the production of tableware. Fashion trends are constantly changing, and the specialists of JSC "DPF" constantly monitor them, promptly introducing new design solutions, shapes and colors.

In addition, it is equally important that meal dishes are absolutely safe. Porcelain is made of white clay, which is used in cosmetology, and special high-temperature paints are applied in deco­ration. Recently, more and more inglazed collections are being produced. Such porcelain dishes are characterized by additional shine, smoothness, serve longer in everyday life. The quality of products meets the requirements of international and European standards.

Due to the advantages mentioned, "Dobrush Porcelain" brand from Dobrush Porcelain Factory is actively expanding export horizons. The geography of the company's foreign supplies is wide and includes Germany, France, Poland, the USA, Kazakhstan, and Russia, which is the main export market.

Only 20 percent of the manufactured products are sold in the domestic market. The company's specialists are actively working to increase supplies within the EAEU. Online platforms are being explored. By now, the plant's products have already been presented on Wildberries, Ozon, and other well-known marketplaces.

The plant pays great attention to technical re-equipment. In 2007, a high-speed tunnel kiln for firing was put into operation, which made it possible to improve the quality of products, reduce energy costs and product prices. In 2010, the plant installed a tunnel kiln and a universal chamber kiln; and kilns for decal firing and painting drawings firing were installed in 2011. All the equipment was supplied by a well-known Czech manufacturer.

The installation of eight isostatic presses of the German company SAMA maschinenbau GmbH was another important modernization stage. Such equipment is designed for dry ­pressing of various-shape flat products from porcelain pressing powder. The presses have enabled Dobrush Porcelain Factory to accept orders not only for the widest possible range of forms, but also for the products made from foreign raw materials.

Improving the production process, Dobrush Porcelain Factory JSC con­tinued modernization. Automated lines for casting porcelain products in plaster molds from the French manufacturer Cerinnov made it possible to increase the production of highly demanded products and reduce the share of manual labor, while glazing machines from SAMA Maschinenbau GmbH helped automate the glazing stage and significantly increase productivity.

In 2020, a new digital printing technolo­gy for decorating porcelain products was introduced, applied by world leading manufacturers.

Today's JSC "DPF" is a modern, high-tech world-class enterprise. Everyone entering the plant territory hears a melodic chime. The source of the melody can be revealed only as soon as you get into the workshops. Such a variety of different porcelain products can hardly be seen anywhere else! The gentle craftsmen's hands press, mold, burn, decorate and pack the products. It takes seven days and more for the finished product to get to the warehouse and further to an end buyer.
