
A meeting of the BelCCI Committee on Exhibition, Trade Fair and Congress Activities was held in the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Chairman of the Committee Dmitry Dichkovskiy, Director of Belinterexpo Exhibition Enterprise Evgeniy Vvedensky, representatives of ministries, concerns, regional executive committees, and Minsk City Executive Committee took part in the event. More than 100 representatives of Belarusian enterprises and organisations have joined the live streaming.
Participants of the meeting summed up the participation results of domestic companies in exhibitions and expositions in foreign countries in 2021, discussed plans and prospects for organising national and other exhibition events abroad in 2022 taking into account the epidemiological situation.
Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity – Head of the Directorate-General for Foreign Economic Activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yaroslav Mitskevich informed the participants about the possibilities of obtaining state support in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 412 "On Export Support" of November 14, 2019.
The Head of the Directorate for International Cooperation and Application of Non-Tariff Regulation Measures of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Evgeniy Belov presented foreign, international, republican and regional exhibitions and trade fairs planned to be held in Belarus in 2022.
Senior Scientific Officer of the Republican Laboratory of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Center of Studies of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Andrei Kishtymov delivered a presentation of the monograph "Belarus at Exhibitions of the 19th-20th centuries".
Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Belgospischeprom and Belneftekhim concerns, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Holding Managing Company Brestmiasomolprom Concern, Beltamozhservice RUE, Vitba confectionery factory, Spartak JV JSC, Gomselmash OJSC, Grodno Meat-Packing Plant, Molochny Mir OJSC, MINSK KRISTALL OJSC, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, Babushkina Krynka OJSC and Belshina JSC were awarded the diplomas of the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS Member States for active participation in exhibition and trade fair activities in 2021.
