Regional Assembly of the BelCCI members in the Grodno region

The regional assembly of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry members to elect delegates to the 12th Congress of the BelCCI was held in Grodno.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI Denis Meleshkin, Chairman of the Economy Committee of Grodno Regional Executive Committee Alexander Komendant, Chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee Mechislav Goi, as well as representatives of enterprises - members of the BelCCI.

Summing up the work of the Grodno Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2019-2022, General Director Miroslav Sarosek noted the positive dynamics in the development of all areas and services, spoke about new approaches and formats, taking into account those difficult conditions that enterprises had to face. The General Director assured the participants of the meeting that in the future the activity of the enterprise will be aimed at providing comprehensive support to business and increasing the export potential of the Grodno region.

BelCCI Deputy Chairman Denis Meleshkin noted that despite all the difficulties of the last three years, the Chamber continued to actively promote the interests of Belarusian business in foreign markets, introducing new services that are especially demanded by enterprises, providing comprehensive support to BelCCI members in order to minimize the negative consequences caused by the restrictive measures imposed.

The Chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee Mechislav Goi noted that being a link between business and government, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is actively promoting the interests of business circles. He positively assessed the role of the BelCCI and the regional branch in the development of international trade and economic relations of the business community of the region in a three-year period.

The head of the Administration of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" Dmitry Rozhkov shared his experience of cooperation with the Grodno Branch of the BelCCI. He noted the strong business relations that have developed between the organizations, as evidenced by dozens of jointly organized events aimed at developing the region's economy.

According to the voting, 9 enterprises-delegates were elected to represent the Grodno region at the XII Congress of the BelCCI.

Within the regional Assembly, the companies of the Grodno region were also awarded with the diplomas of the republican competition "The Best Exporter of 2021".

The next 12th Congress of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is convened by the decision of Council of the Chamber on October 5, 2022. The Congress will take stock of the BelCCI activities over the past three years and determine the directions for further work.
