Awarding of enterprises of Vitebsk region – the laureates of the "Best Exporter 2020" republican contest

An award ceremony for winning enterprises and diploma holders of the "Best Exporter 2020" republican contest was held in Vitebsk. Eight enterprises have become the contest laureates in this region:

Lepel Forestry State Forestry Institution – the winner in the category "Forestry and logging industry";

PA Energokomplekt LLC – the winner in the category "Electronics, instrument making, electrical and optical-mechanical industry";

Vitebsk Carpets OJSC – the winner in the category "Light Industry";

Display Design office OJSC and Vityaz OJSC – diplomas in the category "Electronics, instrument making, electrical and optical-mechanical industry";

Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm OJSC – a diploma in the category "Agriculture";

Invet OJSC – a diploma in the category "Oil refining, chemical and petrochemical industry (organizations with an annual export volume of up to 25 million USD)";

Ruzspedition LLC – a diploma in the category "Small and medium-sized businesses in the production sector".

The award ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, Deputy Chairman of Vitebsk Region Executive Committee Boris Efremov, heads and representatives of enterprises – winners and diploma holders of the competition.

The Chairman of the BelCCI noted that there are about 1900 exporting enterprises in the Vitebsk region, while over the past five years more than 200 new private enterprises have begun to export their products. This is an additional driver of increased activity in foreign markets. He also stressed that the laureates are the elite of the Belarusian business, and the purpose of the contest is not only to determine the best exporters according to the objective digital criteria, but also to make society aware of the success of enterprises, because the work to promote products abroad is worthy of respect and recognition.

  "Today we have to work in difficult conditions. But difficulties serve as a stimulus for development, make us stronger. The BelCCI, state institutions, our exporters – together, we are doing one big thing, ensuring stable, sustainable development of the state, a decent standard of living for our citizens. I would like to wish you, the teams of your enterprises health, prosperity and further success, so that the Vitebsk region will be at the highest positions in export supplies, sales skills, production of high-tech and competitive products," Vladimir Ulakhovich addressed the representatives of the enterprises.
