Awarding of the enterprises of Minsk – laureates of the "Best exporter of 2020" republican contest

On November 15, an award ceremony for winning enterprises and diploma holders of the "Best Exporter 2020" republican contest was held in Minsk.

The following 13 Belarusian capital enterprises became the "Best Exporter" laureates according to last year results:

Atlant CJSC – the winner in the category "Production of Household Goods for the Population";

Game Stream JLLC – the winner in the category "Development of Information Technologies";

BKM Holding Managing Company OJSC – the winner in the category "Mechanical Engineering and Metal Working";

Respecta CJSC – the winner in the category "Oil Refining, Chemical and Petrochemical Industry" (companies with an annual export turnover of up to 25 million US dollars);

BTLC State Enterprise – the winner in the category "Transport and Logistics";

Belarusian State University – the winner in the category "Education";

Minskmetroproekt OJSC – the winner in the category "Services";

DELS Scientific and Technical Center LLC – the winner in the category "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in the Field of Rendering Services";

Horizont Factory of Electronics and Household Appliances – a diploma in the category "Production of Household Goods for the Population";

MAZ-MAN CJSC and MAZ OJSC – BELAVTOMAZ Holding Managing Company – diplomas in the category "Mechanical Engineering and Metal Working";

Belarusian Cement Company Holding Managing Company RUE – an incentive diploma in the category "Construction and Production of Construction Materials";

School of Business of BSU SEI – a diploma in the category "Education".

The Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, representatives of the administrative authorities of Minsk districts and heads of enterprises attended the award ceremony.

The Chairman of the BelCCI noted that the capital is the largest exporter in the country accounting for about 30 percent of the republican export turnover of goods and more than 60 percent of services export. He noted, "Despite all the difficulties existing today, Minsk enterprises hold a sustainable position in the export of their products. And it is very important to pay tribute to such enterprises because these are people who address the challenges both in export and in any other field. Therefore, I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff of the companies achieving such country-important results."

The Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev also thanked the heads of the enterprises being the laureates for their work for the benefit of the city and the country. While addressing the heads of the enterprises, Vladimir Kukharev said, "Today Minsk enterprises produce unique products being in demand all over the world. This is the merit of hundreds of thousands of people, who work at your enterprises and produce what consumers need. And in order to produce the product you need to put in a piece of your soul, your knowledge, skills and high professional competence. And today we can say with confidence that you do not rest on the laurels: you renovate production facilities, introduce new technologies annually and release new types of products. Winning the competition is an indicator of success and the correctness of the course you have chosen."
