Awarding of the enterprises of Mogilev Region – laureates of the republican contest the "Best exporter of 2020"

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich awarded the enterprises of Mogilev Region that became laureates of the republican contest the "Best Exporter of 2020".

This year, due to the epidemiological situation, the awarding of winners and diploma holders of the contest takes place in each region of the country separately. Mogilev Region has been the first to host the ceremony.

The awards were presented to the heads of the laureate enterprises during the plenary session of the 12^th International Investment Forum "Mill of Success" with the participation of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of Mogilev Region Executive Committee Leonid Zaiats, Head of Sogd Region of the Republic of Tajikistan Akhmodzoda Rajabboy, Director of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization Dmitry Krasovsky, business representatives of Belarus and foreign countries.

Five Mogilev Region enterprises became the laureates of the contest:

Kronospan OSB FLLC – the winner in the nomination "Woodworking and Furniture Production";

CSP BZS JLLC – the winner in the nomination "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in the Production Sector";

Paper Mill Spartak RUE – a diploma in the nomination "Pulp and Paper Industry";

Legpromrazvitie CJSC – a diploma in the nomination "Light Industry";

Perfume and cosmetic factory Sontsa FC – a diploma in the nomination "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in the Production Sector".

"The "Best Exporter of the Year" title is an objective assessment of the achievements of the region's enterprises, that, following the results of the last year, that was not easy for the world economy, once again proved that Belarusian products are in demand in the world market," the BelCCI Chairman said. "Traditionally, we awarded laureates at the Palace of the Republic. But the current epidemiological situation has made holding the ceremony in this format impossible. At the same time, it's extremely important to honor the enterprises' teams that have made significant contribution to strengthening the economic stability and prosperity of the country, and to draw widespread attention to the success of domestic producers. Therefore, the award ceremonies will be held in each region of the country."
