The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone," organized a matchmaking event for Belarusian enterprises and a business delegation from Shandong Province (China).
Representatives of 18 high-tech Chinese companies and over 60 Belarusian organizations from the industrial, agri-food, financial, transport and logistics, educational, and public utilities sectors established contacts and held productive negotiations at the Great Stone Industrial Park.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Chairperson of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Malinovskaya reiterated the long-standing and strong ties between Belarus and Shandong Province, both through various economic projects and regional sister-city relations.
"It's gratifying that today, with this well-known region, which is also one of the drivers of the entire Chinese economy, we are laying another 'brick' in the foundation of a comprehensive and all-weather strategic partnership between Belarus and China," emphasized Elena Malinovskaya.
According to her, Belarus has become a true 'point of attraction' for numerous Chinese business delegations, and the heads of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chinese diplomatic mission in Minsk recently confirmed the good prospects for business cooperation between the two countries.
The head of the Chinese delegation, Wei Wei, head of the Industrial Internet Department of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, noted that the region is very interested in joint research with Belarus and cooperation with our country in the field of advanced industrial developments.
"Belarus is not only an important transportation hub in the Eurasian region, but also has a solid industrial base and outstanding scientific and technological talent," the Shandong official emphasized.
