Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition at UzFood expo in Tashkent

Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition is held within UzFood exhibition that has opened in Tashkent.

The exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo Exhibition Enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

The exposition demonstrates innovative products and advanced technologies of seven Belarusian food industry enterprises. Brestmyasomolprom Concern and its subsidiary enterprises – Luninets Dairy Plant and Kobrin Butter and Cheese Making Plant, as well as Babushkina Krynka Holding, Volkovysk Meat-Processing Plant, Grodno Meat-Processing Plant, BRESTMASH Company present dairy and meat products, food and processing industry equipment.

After the official opening ceremony of the UzFood exhibition, the Belarusian exposition was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Alisher Turaev, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekozikovkatzahira Association Nigmat Akhmedzhanov, CEO of Iteca Exhibitions (UzFood exhibition organizer) Nigora Khasanova.

On April 27, on the eve of the exhibition opening, a seminar "Uzbekistan – Belarus: prospects for cooperation" was held, with the participation of Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich, senior management representatives of a large trade network "Makro" and distributors of Belarusian products in Uzbekistan. During the seminar, the prospects for the development of industrial cooperation and the expansion of trade and economic ties between enterprises of the two countries were considered.

Besides, a number of congress and business events are scheduled at UzFood premises. The specialized "Retail Center" platform will provide food products manufacturers with an opportunity to meet purchasers and retailers from Uzbekistan and other countries.

UzFood is the largest food industry exhibition in Uzbekistan. This year, participating in it are more than 150 companies from 26 states.
The exhibition will last until April 30.
