"Belarus – the Taste of Nature" pavilion at Interfood Azerbaijan expo in Baku

"Belarus – the Taste of Nature" pavilion was presented at the Interfood Azerbaijan expo in Baku. The pavilion was organized by the Exhibition Company "Belinterexpo" of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Participating in the Belarusian pavilion were 16 producers of meat, dairy and confectionery products, beverages and food industry equipment, such as Concern "Brestmyasomolprom" and its subordinate enterprises Brest Meat-Packing Plant, Kobrin Butter and Cheese-Making Plant, Luninetsky Milk Plant, as well as Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant, Pruzhany Dairy Integrated Plant, Babushkina Krynka holding, Molochny Mir JSC, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, Mogilev Meat-Packing Plant, Holding "Minsk Kristall", Spartak Confectionery Factory, Torgmash OJSC, Gomel Meat and Dairy Company Holding and the Kalinkovichi Meat Processing Plant and Kalinkovichi Dairy Plant subordinate to it.

On the first day of the exhibition work, the Belarusian pavilion was visited by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Inam Kerimov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan Andrei Ravkov. The guests tasted Belarusian products and highly appreciated their quality.

The exposition was accompanied by business program events: negotiations, seminars, business meetings. The key event was the seminar "Azerbaijan – Belarus: prospects for cooperation", at which the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan made a welcoming speech, and reports and practical recommendations were made by representatives of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, the AzPromo Export Promotion Agency, the Food Security Agency, the Agency for Small and Medium-sized Businesses Development, a large trade network Favorit Market and a chain of stores Belaruski.

Interfood Azerbaijan was the first exhibition to have been held in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the pandemic. The event was attended by about 300 companies from 28 countries. The exhibition ran until June 12.
