Belarus-Turkey Business Council Session

Minsk hosted the 14th session of the Belarus-Turkey Business Council, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DE?K).

The session was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus – Chairman of the Belarusian side of the Belarusian-Turkish Joint Intergovernmental Economic Commission Vladimir Makei, the Minister of Forestry and Water Resources of Turkey – Chairman of the Turkish side of the Commission Veysel Eroglu, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkey Andrei Savinykh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Turkish Republic to the Republic of Belarus Kezban Nilvana Darama, representatives of 40 Belarusian and 50 Turkish enterprises and organizations.

The Business Council session participants discussed prospects for further enhancement of the Belarusian-Turkish cooperation, the issues related to Belarusian goods promotion to the Turkish market, shared the success stories of some Turkish companies operating in Belarus, considered export potential of the two countries, the Turkish experience in small and medium enterprises support. Representatives of the Belarusian and Turkish enterprises and organizations held bilateral negotiations and discussed future cooperation.
