The Belarusian-Mongolian Economic Forum was held in Ulaanbaatar, timed to coincide with the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the 27th international exhibition Ulaanbaatar Partnership. Within the framework of the forum, the export potential of the National Exposition participants, such as Belgospischeprom concern, Babushkina Krynka enterprise, Grodno Meat Processing Plant, Lida Dairy and Canning Plant, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, Belpharmprom Holding, was presented. Besides, the forum included a B2B meeting with the Mongolian business representatives.
The President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia Amartuvshin Otgondavaa delivered an opening speech. "I thank Belarus for its interest in the Ulaanbaatar Partnership exhibition. This has been the third time for Belarusian companies to partake in the event. At the same time, the chambers of commerce and industry of Mongolia and Belarus enjoy 20 years of partnership relations," Amartuvshin O. noted.
In his speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia Dmitry Gorelik underlined the high potential of Belarus-Mongolia trade and economic cooperation. "Bilateral trade is growing year by year, with the share of Belarusian exports in it being more than 99 percent. The products of the food industry, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical sector seem particularly prospective in the Mongolian market. We are focused at further developing bilateral trade, including through the participation of our companies in the exhibition in Ulaanbaatar," Dmitry Gorelik said.
