Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Vyacheslav Danilovich, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, signed a Cooperation Agreement between the two organizations.
The document was signed at the Academy of Public Administration, during the meeting of Vladimir Ulakhovich and Vyacheslav Danilovich, where promising avenues of the sides' interaction, possible joint projects in business education and information and publishing activities were discussed. Participating in the meeting were also the first Vice-Rector of the Academy Olga Soldatova and the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Academy Valery Matsel.
Aiming to strengthen business relations, enhance practice-oriented education and improve the educational infrastructure that facilitates foreign economic ties development, the BelCCI and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus agreed to cooperate in the following areas:
The BelCCI Chairman said that the signing of the Agreement was the first step, which created a framework for further long-term cooperation of the Chamber and the Academy, provided for uniting the potential of the two organizations to implement ambitious goals and objectives in the field of personnel training and foreign economic activity. "There are many areas and fields we can successfully cooperate in to develop educational infrastructure, expand international relations. I am sure that we will implement the projects planned and will meet the new academic year with ready-made programs," Vladimir Ulakhovich underlined.
As he visited the Academy of Public Administration, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry delivered a lecture for the Managerial Personnel Institute students majoring in State Administration and Economy. Vladimir Ulakhovich spoke on the activities of the Chamber on developing the external economic relations of Belarusian business with foreign partners, rendering practical assistance to enterprises in the promotion of the domestic products to foreign markets, presented the key directions and principles of the foreign trade policy of Belarus, the structure of domestic exports and major brands that promote the country image abroad.
