
Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin addressed the online conference of the CIS Chambers of Commerce and Industry "Framework for Business Improvement and Development". The conference was organized by the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS countries and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Participating in the event were Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldy Rejepov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS countries, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Odil Sangov, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Ayan Erenov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova Sergiu Harea, Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Roman Kasymov, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nazim Tatliev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Padalko, heads and representatives of regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business circles of the CIS states.
The conference participants discussed the support mechanisms the chambers of commerce and industry provide to small and medium-sized businesses in the context of COVID-19, opportunities for doing business abroad and developing cooperation with foreign partners during the pandemic, shared experience in introducing new formats of work and events holding, digitalizing the services provided by business associations.
In his presentation, the BelCCI Deputy Chairman highlighted the activities of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the current epidemiological situation, the key directions of interaction with partner organizations and holding joint online events, shared the experience in providing services to businesses to minimize the consequences of the pandemic and the downturn in business activity.
