From March 14 to 20, a Belarusian delegation was working in Turkmenistan. Against the backdrop of intensifying bilateral relations, the main objective of the mission was the practical realization of trade potential and the strengthening of direct contacts between enterprises of the two countries.
A central element of the business program was preparations for market entry. During a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurny, the delegation members worked through the legal aspects, logistics chains, and settlement terms in detail — key factors for effective operations in the region.
The delegation also familiarized itself with the production facilities of the Ashgabat Textile Complex and visited enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Direct dialogue continued at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in the format of B2B meetings, wh ere the parties discussed the terms of direct supplies and cooperation.
As part of the visit, the Belarusian delegation took part in the IFT 2026 exhibition, held to mark the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The negotiations resulted in agreements across a wide range of sectors:
The visit not only strengthened ties with existing partners but also created new contacts that will serve as a foundation for continued cooperation.
