Belarus-Tatarstan business meeting

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Belarus-Tatarstan business meeting, organized by the BelCCI, together with the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan" within the framework of a Tatarstan business delegation visit to Minsk.

The business meeting was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI Denis Meleshkin and the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmatov.

In their addresses, they noted that the enterprises of Belarus and Tatarstan are interested in deepening existing partnerships and establishing new business contacts for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.

"Certainly, Belarus and Tatarstan have many cooperation areas that may be of interest to business. Today Belarus can offer cooperation in various areas of the economy. We are an export-oriented state with a developed industry, agriculture and service sector. In addition, the country has a competitive investment and tax climate," Denis Meleshkin said. He expressed hope that the business visit of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is held in response to the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Belarus in September last year, will make it possible to find new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

 "I am sure that as a result of our meeting and your visit in general, you will discover Belarus as a reliable long-term partner. For its part, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will make every effort to ensure a fruitful and substantive bilateral business dialogue," the BelCCI Deputy Chairman said, addressing Tatarstan business representatives.

The welcoming speeches were followed by presentations of the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian delegation member enterprises.

During direct B2B negotiations, more than 50 representatives of enterprises and organizations of the two countries discussed the development of partnerships in the fields of petroleum chemistry and oilfield services, supplies of metal products, spare parts and components for oilfield special equipment, polymer sheets, building metal structures, rental and management of real estate, as well as in other spheres.
