
The Belarusian-Turkish Business Council was held in Istanbul.
Reference. Belarusian-Turkish Business Council - an authority established by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK). The objectives are to develop bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, to maintain a direct dialogue between representatives of Belarusian and Turkish enterprises, as well as to discuss and resolve emerging issues of mutual trade.
Pavel Marinenko, Head of Administration of FEZ ‘Mogilev’, and Irina Ivanova, Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI presented the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They made welcoming remarks, noting the important role of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council in solving problems and topical issues of economic interaction between the countries. Irina Ivanova presented the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Belarus.
The participants discussed new directions and opportunities to intensify business partnership between the two countries, as well as issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The Business Council resulted in an agreed plan of joint actions in the most relevant areas of co-operation.
B2B negotiations were held on developing co-operation in logistics, scientific research, mechanical engineering, light industry, stock trading, gas fuel production at the end of the meeting.
