Briefing on the Brest Economic Forum-Workshop: Strategic Partner - China (October 9, 2025)

On September 17, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a briefing regarding the upcoming “Strategic Partner – China” Forum-Workshop for Belarusian businesses, which will take place on October 9 in Brest.

Valery Labun, General Director of the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Vitali Vabishchevich, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the briefing, which was attended by national media.

During a briefing, the head of the regional chamber noted that “This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations. During this time, the heads of state have built a powerful political foundation for bilateral relations”. “Over these decades, significant, colossal potential for mutually beneficial partnership and cooperation has accumulated. What is modern China? I think it's no secret that this is a country that offers great opportunities for the Belarusian economy. Firstly, it offers a virtually unlimited market for our goods and services. Secondly, it offers significant financial, credit, investment, and technological resources. Thirdly, it offers China's accumulated experience in socioeconomic development as a whole”, he emphasised.

A dedicated website was created to prepare for and host the forum, allowing business representatives to register and learn all the details of the event.
