The Bryansk region, one of the leaders in the Russian agro-industrial complex, showcased its export potential at the largest international exhibition "Belagro-2025" in Minsk. The region's exposition was organized by the Department of Economic Development of Bryansk Region and the Bryansk Export Support Center.

The products of six leading grain companies from the region – LLC ASM, LLC "Selkhoznik Timiryazevsky," "Grain Alliance", SP Starodubets, LLC "Omnigranum," and LLC "Kolhoznik" – were noted for their high attendance, recognition, and trust from exhibition visitors in the first few days.

The week-long work of the stand was filled with meetings with potential partners from Belarus and other countries. The Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry helped organize negotiations with more than 20 Belarusian enterprises. Not only did Bryansk exporters find new partners but they also met long-standing business contacts from the Belarusian business community interested in developing ties with the border region of Russia.

According to preliminary data, agreements have been reached for the supply of Bryansk grain to Belarusian poultry farms, Bryansk corn to Egypt, and grain, rapeseed, and soy to the Iranian market. Guests showed particular interest in Bryansk potatoes, whose high quality was noted by specialists. More than 30 companies held negotiations at the exposition and expressed their will to conclude contracts. Bryansk businesses are open to cooperation on large volumes.

"Companies from the Bryansk region represented the region commendably at the large and significant exhibition 'Belagro-2025,' emphasized the head of the Department of Economic Development of Bryansk Region, Mikhail Erokhin. 'Participants particularly noted the purity of our rapeseed and the high quality of potatoes. Entrepreneurs held dozens of successful meetings in a constructive manner.' Erokhin reminded that Bryansk tops Russian rates in grain and rapeseed yields, as well as in the gross harvest of potatoes, producing 1/7 of Russian potatoes.

Daily, the exposition was visited by representative delegations. The regional platform was inspected by a delegation from the region led by Deputy Governor Boris Gribanov. 'We have no doubt that the Bryansk region will present itself in the best light,' said Gribanov, wishing the companies new contracts and supplies.

The stand was also visited by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko, Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako, and Trade Representative of Russia in Belarus Yuri Zolotarev. Zolotarev welcomed the exporters as 'the voice of a tight-knit family,' wishing them success at the exhibition and beyond.

The Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Natalia Kochanova, visited the exposition on one of the final days: 'You are our closest neighbors, we wish you all the best! Your potatoes are excellent. We hope to see you participating in the Forum of Regions as well. Come visit!'"

"Various support measures for entrepreneurs, especially for export-oriented companies, are in place in the Bryansk region," noted Pavel Baranov, director of the Export Support Center (ESC) of Bryansk region. "The ESC accompanies exporters from the first inquiry to the signing of a contract with a foreign partner."

The center offers a wide range of services: training programs, videoconferences with trade representatives of the Russian Federation, partner search, organization of participation in exhibitions (including sample delivery and contact search), as well as assistance in obtaining financial services from the Russian Export Center (REC): transaction insurance, expedited VAT refunds, and financing. Most of the ESC's services are provided free of charge.

The ESC's activities are yielding results: the geography of Bryansk product exports spans from Chile to Indonesia. Special attention is given to working with Belarus. This year, Bryansk companies will participate in other major Belarusian exhibitions, and Bryansk industrialists will come to Minsk with a business mission.

The Bryansk region’s participation in "Belagro-2025" was a vivid achievements demonstration of the regional agro-industrial complex. It strengthened business ties with partners, primarily from Belarus, and opened new prospects for the export of Bryansk agricultural products.
