Delegation of the Minsk Branch of BelCCI at Expo 2025 in Osaka: A View into the Future Through the Lens of Innovation

The Belarusian delegation, under the auspices of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the grand World Expo 2025 in Osaka, which served as a global platform for dialogue about the future of humanity. The delegation included leaders and experts fr om key economic sectors: construction, medicine, agriculture, and science. Their mission was to adopt the experience of innovation leaders and strengthen Belarus’ international ties in the era of Society 5.0.

Expo 2025: A Laboratory of the Future

The exhibition’s concept – “A Laboratory of Human Life; A Laboratory of Future Society” – was embodied in 158 national pavilions and 7 international projects. Participants presented realistic models of sustainable development through the lens of technology, ecology, and humanitarian values.

Key Themes of Expo 2025:

·         Society 5.0: Harmony between humans, technology, and nature.

·         Yumeshima Artificial Island: Smart infrastructure with an ICT platform, 5G, flying cars, and robot assistants.

·         Interactivity: From biometric security systems to AI-powered navigation apps.

·         Better Co-Being: Balance of life and society.

·         Future of Life: Biotechnology and longevity.

·         Playground of Life: Preservation of biodiversity.

·         Dialogue Theater: Protection of ecosystems.

·         EARTH SMART: Symbiosis of all life forms.

Exploring Expo 2025: From Robots to Flying Cars

The delegation explored key pavilions:

·         Japan: Women’s contributions to societal development, NTT’s digital communications, GUNDAM robotics.

·         Scandinavia: Eco-friendly construction.

·         USA: Artificial intelligence.

·         China: Space technologies.

·         UAE: “Green” energy.

·         India: Agricultural and medical innovations.

·         Other countries.

·         Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS): A unified app for transport and tickets.

·         Robots: From cleaning to logistics.

·         Virtual Reality: Blending digital and physical worlds.

Culture, Science, and Night Horizons

Beyond the exhibition, participants immersed themselves in Japanese culture:

·         Gastronomy: Traditional dishes and futuristic food technologies.

·         Show Programs: Waterfront light projections, theatrical performances, concerts.

·         Night Sessions: Pavilion visits until 21:00 and B2B networking.

Expo 2025 is not just an exhibition but a living organism wh ere ideas for tomorrow are born. The delegation observed how technologies serve humanity and is eager to implement these solutions in Belarus.
