Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition at the HKTDC Food Expo in Hong Kong

The exposition of Belarusian producers" Belarus. The Taste of Nature", formed by Belinterexpo, a unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is presented in Hong Kong, People's Republic of China, as part of the HKTDC Food Expo. The grand opening took place with the participation of Tatyana Kharlap, Consul General of Belarus in Hong Kong.

Among the first honoured guests who visited the Belarusian exposition within the framework of the presentation were Director General of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yung Wei Tee Patrick and Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Industries Anthony Lam.

Each year, one of the world's leading trade and financial centres, Hong Kong, welcomes hundreds of trade and brand exhibitors from all continents to present the latest innovations in the food industry within the combined format of the HKTDC Food Expo.

The exhibition provides unique opportunities to showcase and taste unique delicacies and specialities from food forum exhibitors.

Among the large-scale country pavilions at the expo are Japan and Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Mexico, provinces and regions in Mainland China, including Fujian, Guizhou, Hunan, Sichuan, Zhejiang.

Four Belarusian companies are presentedd as part of the exposition Belarus. The Taste of Nature at the HKTDC Food Expo.

Thus, a wide range of condensed milk is presented by Glubokoye Dairy Canning Plant. as well as butter, cheese, milk powder and dietary products.

Especially for HKTDC Food Expo, Primeilk Ltd. offers milk-fat concentrates, cream substitute, demineralised whey powder and a range of soft cheeses.

Slonim Meat Processing Plant OJSC presents sausages, canned meat, beef meat and delicatessen products; and Grodno Meat Processing Plant OJSC offers a wide product list of sausages, including products made according to a special recipe, taking into account the demand of the Chinese market.

The international part of the HKTDC Food Expo will last until August 17 and will bring together a number of business platforms for mentoring, case studies and dialogue events with the participation of Belarusian representatives.

The participation of domestic producers in the Hong Kong exhibition is, among other things, the result of comprehensive work to promote Belarusian products and organise the upcoming national exposition at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held in Shanghai on 5-10 November.
