On July 28-30, Grozny (the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation) hosts a large-scale exhibition of Belarusian goods and services "Belarus EXPO". Participating in the event are 29 industrial enterprises representing the products most demanded by the region consumers. The official visit to the Chechen Republic of a representative business delegation from Belarus, including heads of ministries and departments, directors of large companies, has been organized to coincide with the exhibition.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Chechen Republic Government Khasan Khakimov, Minister of Industry and Energy of the Chechen Republic Adam Khakimov, Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Pantus, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Kharitonchik, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin.
Within the framework of the exhibition, a road map was signed between the Republic of Belarus and the Chechen Republic on cooperation in the field of industry, transport and housing and communal services.
"Belarus EXPO" in Grozny includes two product groups. The first is represented by enterprises of the Ministry of Industry, the second – by enterprises of the Bellegprom Concern.
Belarusian manufacturers demonstrate engineering products, metal products, auto components, car parking models, elevators and elevator equipment, diesel generators, compressor stations, household appliances, gas meters, as well as a wide range of light industry products, such as clothes, shoes, accessories and leather goods, home textiles, porcelain products and more.
The exhibition has been organized by the State Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus; the exhibition operator is the Belinterexpo Exhibition Company of the BelCCI. The exhibition is held with the support of the Rostov-on-Don Divsion of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation.
