The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich visited the exhibition of Belarusian and Turkmen products that opened in the sport facility Chizhovka Arena in Minsk on 9 October.
The exhibition has been organized by the Belarusian Trade Ministry and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the unitary enterprise Belinterexpo. The exhibition will stay open through October 12.
In particular, the President of Turkmenistan was made familiar with Belarusian food products and consumer goods, including confectionery and brewing industry products. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov talked to heads of Belarusian enterprises. He also took some time examining the stand of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and showed interest in research products of Belarusian scientists.
The exponents of the exhibition-fair of Belarusian and Turkmen goods are enterprises run by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom, the Belarusian food industry concern Belgospishcheprom, and the state manufacturing and trade group Belkhudozhpromysly. The Turkmen part of the exhibition features non-foods (textiles, manufactured goods) and foods (tomatoes, cheese, feta cheese and other products).
