At the “Veliky Kamen” Industrial Park, a joint business event of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the park administration took place – “Great Business Day: Strategic Alliance – Territory of Growth”. The event brought together representatives of the real sector of the economy and served as a platform for presenting updated cooperation mechanisms.
As part of the program, park residents, partners of “Veliky Kamen,” and the BCCI got detailed familiarization with the benefits of membership in the chamber, the conditions for procurement within the EAEU, the grounds for preferences in public procurement in Belarus, and also identified promising growth opportunities for business.
The key event was the signing of the updated cooperation agreement between the BCCI and the Veliky Kamen Industrial Park, which officially formalizes the partnership between the parties. BCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov noted that the collaboration between the chamber and the park is aimed at achieving the main goal – promoting the development of Belarusian business and its successful expansion into foreign markets.
At the event, Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk Office of the BCCI, spoke about the main areas of work with the Park’s residents. Special emphasis was placed on new support tools for manufacturers, including Resolution No. 80, which defines benefits for Belarusian producers; EEC Decision No. 105, providing access to EAEU public procurement; and Decree No. 3 of the Union State.
The practical part of the Great Business Day program focused on tools for operational entry into foreign markets. One of the speakers, Vitaly Zhuk, Head of the Information and Marketing Sector of the Minsk Office of the BelCCI, covered the topic of individual studies on market access for specific types of products. He provided a detailed step-by-step analysis of entering the EAEU markets and countries beyond.
The event concluded with networking sessions, during which Irina Kutsko, Deputy Director General for Expertise and Certification of the Minsk Office of the BCCI, and Maksim Smirkin, Head of the Department of Machinery and Equipment Expertise and Certification, conducted practical sessions. Participants and park residents had a unique opportunity to discuss applied issues of certification, expertise, and appraisal directly with practitioners in an informal setting.
The Minsk Office of the BCCI actively collaborates with residents of the “Great Stone” Industrial Park. On a regular basis, every first and third Wednesday of the month, experts from the office hold in-person express consultations on the park’s premises, addressing operational issues related to certification, expertise, and appraisal, as well as providing assistance with processing through the “One-Stop Service” system.
