International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investment. Prospects."

On July 15, 2022, the International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investment. Prospects.", which was jointly attended by Natallia Varabyova, Director General of the Vitebsk branch of the BelCCI, and the Presidents of the CCI of St. Petersburg Vladimir Katenev and CCI of Pskov region Vladimir Zubov. The Forum was organized by the Vitebsk regional and city executive committees, the administration of the FEZ "Vitebsk", the Regional Marketing Center, the Vitebsk branch of the BelCCI, the Regional Union of Employers. The purpose of this business platform is to demonstrate the investment potential of the Vitebsk region, promote innovative projects and products, establish business contacts with foreign partners, conclude agreements and contracts.

The heads of the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the expositions of enterprises and higher educational institutions of the Vitebsk region, new developments and proposals for import substitution, negotiations were held.

Then the delegation visited the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the open joint Stock company "KB Display", the XXIII International Universal Fair "Slavianski Kaleidaskop". The fair traditionally takes place during the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk", among 72 exhibitors this year – 20 Russian participants: from Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk, Samara, Saratov, Kirov regions.
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry discussed areas for further cooperation, topical issues and promising areas of interregional cooperation in terms of import substitution, the search for alternative suppliers and customers, as well as opportunities for the development of twinning ties at the city level.
