17 February 2026

A delegation of the Minsk Region, headed by Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Kushnarenko, is working in Tatarstan. The key event of the visit was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union “Naberezhnye Chelny Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”

The document was signed by Sergey Nabeshko, Director General of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian CCI, and Farid Basharov, Director General of the Naberezhnye Chelny CCI, while the delegation also includes leading industrial and agricultural enterprises of the region, underscoring the practical focus of the visit.

Naberezhnye Chelny is the industrial heart of Tatarstan, and for Belarusian business it represents a window of opportunity. The new agreement is intended to remove barriers and provide enterprises with practical tools:

Reliable Information: The parties will promptly share commercial data and economic updates.

Ready-Made Solutions: Joint business missions and forums will help companies find each other without intermediaries.

Targeted Support: Individual project support and assistance in entering target markets.

The visit program is tightly scheduled. The delegation has already explored the experience of Innopolis, a city of the future where high technologies have become part of everyday life. However, special emphasis is placed on the agro-industrial sector. The Minsk Region and Tatarstan are focused on specific projects in agriculture, ranging from the use of Belarusian machinery in the fields to joint solutions in processing.

This visit and the signed documents serve as further confirmation that strong interregional ties form the foundation for genuine economic resilience.
