An online video conference on the development of Belarus–China cooperation was held between the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the management of the Harbin Comprehensive Bonded Zone. The main focus of the meeting was the entry of companies from the capital region into the Chinese market.

The Belarusian side was represented by Irina Ivanova, Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In her remarks, she thanked the Chinese partners for their consistent support and for the specific request for meat product supplies received from the Bonded Zone’s Administrative Committee.

After reviewing the Chinese side’s requests, the Belarusian side proposed expanding the list to include additional categories of Belarusian products with strong export potential:

  • Dairy products: milk powder, cheeses, cottage cheese, and butter.
  • Confectionery products: chocolate, sweets, and biscuits from leading Belarusian manufacturers.
  • Beverages: natural juices and mineral water.
  • Flax products: linen goods, with Belarus being one of the world’s leading producers of flax.

The representative of the Minsk branch of the BCCI emphasized the strategic status of the Harbin bonded zone as a platform for deep processing and distribution.

“We are ready to form a delegation of manufacturers according to your specific requests regarding volumes and types of products. Our goal is for the first visit of business representatives to result in the signing of real contracts,” summarized Irina Ivanova.

The conference also included the heads of the CCPIT of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin City, representatives of the Xiangfang District Administration, and top management of major Chinese trading companies.
